Your Skin Reflects Your Health

Our skin reflects our health. While most of us take the little rashes or itching in our stride, we must realize that these may not just be skin deep. Thus, skin disorders go much beneath the skin's surface. And unhealthy skin can be any indication of a serious connecting health related problem Generalized itching could mean liver or kidney disease apart from a skin disease. Red rashes on butterfly area of face could be SLE while a brown rash in the same area could be an indicator of melasma which is commonly due to hormonal changes during pregnancy Glossitis, stomatitis. Instead of spending money on expensive beauty products to help you look rested, brighter and more youthful however most of the skin care products contain harmful chemicals that can certainly damage your skin in long run of usage. So, it is always better for you to go natural as far as skin care is concerned. Why not take a trip to your local supermarket? A wholesome diet filled with certain hydrating fruits, vegetables, essential fats whole grains and lean protein is a better way to get bright eyes, clear skin and stronger and shinier hair and nails.

For example: Orange vegetables such as carrots, squash and sweet potatoes, and dark greens vegetables such as broccoli, spinach and kale are rich in vitamin A. Vitamin A is important for growth, development and maintenance of healthy skin and teeth. It also keeps the immune system functioning properly. Try having one orange or green vegetable with dinner each night to reap the benefits.

The face becomes glorious by practicing "suryanamaskara" (yoga posture: sun salutation) every day.

What is Health?

A great piece to share...

WHAT IS HEALTH?

It is your inheritance from God to be healthy, effortlessly.

Health is a function of communication. The degree to which you are truly willing to communicate your thoughts, emotions, and feelings is the degree to which your body will be healthy. True health means much more than not being sick. True health means having great energy all day long, feeling good about yourself every moment, and feeling good about others in your life. And remember: To be truly healthy, you must wish flawless health for everyone.

It is very important for you to know how powerful your thoughts are; there is no word strong enough to describe their power. The most important truth that I teach people is about accepting that they are worthy and deserving. Once people accept this truth into their belief system, they truly become open to receive all of the wonderful things that come into their lives. I promise you that incorporating the idea that you are worthy and deserving into your belief system will set off a magnificent chain of events:

First, it will open you to receive many wonderful things in your life such as joyful relationships, effortless prosperity, and most important, flawless health.

Second, because you truly feel worthy and deserving, you will not jeopardize your joyful relationships, effortless prosperity and flawless health by setting yourself up to lose them.

Finally, in knowing that you are worthy and deserving, you will see others that way, too, and will wish all those same wonderful things for them. As you change your own life, you will change the lives of everyone around you.
